Trump, Ivana (2002).
Another price drop has occurred for the late Ivana Trump’s home, which is now listed for $17.9 million, an astounding $8.6 million less than when it was first advertised.
In November 2022, a few months after her death at age 73, the opulent New York City residence of President Donald Trump’s ex-wife was up for sale.
The interior of this 8,725-square-foot limestone townhouse transports you to the opulent 1980s.
The five-story mansion is decorated with pink marble, leopard print, and gold, perfectly capturing the extravagant fashion sense of the former model who is now an executive in the Trump Organization.
As first reported by the New York Post, it was listed for $26.5 million, but since 2022, it has undergone numerous price reductions, first going down to $22.5 million, then to $19.5 million, and finally to $17.9 million.
There has been a 32% overall decrease in the property.
In 1992, Ivana paid $2.5 million for the house following her well-publicized split from Trump. Before she bought it, the 1899-built building had been a dentist’s office suite and had been empty for a dozen years or so.

The townhouse where she reared Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump as teenagers underwent extensive modifications.
Her three children will benefit from the sale’s revenues.
Eric told the Wall Street Journal, “My mom loved that house.” He went on to say that it demonstrated her “style and elegance.”
Ivana, who previously served as the Trump Organization’s vice president of interior design, had a penchant for dramatic décor choices at the townhouse.

Leopard print is everywhere in the library. One room has a pleated ceiling made of gold fabric, while another has walls covered in red and gold cloth.
In her 2017 biography, “Raising Trump,” the late socialite referred to one second-floor chamber as “how Louis XVI would have lived if he had had money,” the Journal reported.
The house also features a patio that protrudes from the main bedroom and a garden.

The house has five bedrooms and is 20 feet wide, with the exception of a full-size kitchen. The Journal claims that as Ivana grew older, she cooked less.
There are two smaller, galley-style kitchens in the house, though.
Eric told the Journal, “She was so at ease there.” “It was the last possession in the world she would ever have gotten rid of.”
Ivana also had real properties in France and a pied à terre in Miami Beach.
In July 2022, her body was discovered at the base of her marble staircase. She had fallen down the steps, the medical examiner concluded.
