Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, two rappers who are at odds, do share one thing: Purchasing real estate

Both women have achieved extraordinary levels of fame and wealth

In May, Nicki Minaj attended the Met Gala in New York City.

Rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have lately rekindled their long-running feud on social media with an intense verbal sparring match.

Cardi, 32, and Minaj, 42, engaged in a series of since-deleted tweets on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday night. Cardi is now expecting her fourth child, her first with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

Minaj’s post that said “$4.99,” the promotional price of Cardi’s album “Am I the Drama?” sparked the most recent controversy.

On September 27, 2025, Cardi B will perform in New York City at the Global Citizen Festival.

After calling Cardi “Barney Dangerous,” Minaj proceeded to post her own rendition of the lyrics of her rival’s song “Magnet,” seemingly in an attempt to “diss.”

“Abcdefgeeeeeeee. She reportedly accused Cardi of altering her look in an attempt to mimic Minaj’s, writing, “SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEEE / tell the rat & tell J ZEEEEEE / Rico Fraud & PERJURY.”

She went on, “Abcdefgeeeeeeee / Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy,” alluding to Cardi’s pregnancy. “RUNNING TRAINS / Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee.”

By sharing an AI-generated picture of Cardi as Barney, Minaj went one step further and branded her as someone who “raps like” the cartoon and is “still ugleee.”

Cardi then replied that she was “baking ribs and making blondie brownies” when Minaj started “bothering me on a damn Monday” as the feud intensified.

Cardi then retaliated against Minaj and even directed insults at her brother, Jelani Maraj, who was imprisoned in 2017 after being found guilty of child rape.

The 32-year-old went on to say that since she entered the business much later than Minaj, there is no way to compare the two of them.

“You’ve been in the game for about 16 years,” the songwriter continued. Comparing yourself to your contemporaries who began around your time is necessary. Drake, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.

“You should be competing with those stats, but you can’t since you’re performing worse than them all. When you came out, I was in high school. Why are you comparing yourself to me?

“Like you weren’t going to different fertility doctors cuz you couldn’t reproduce from all those percs scrambling your eggs,” Cardi said in response to the remarks regarding her pregnancy. Not allegedly. Lord, please keep my children safe.

“There’s nothing more annoying than a bored b–h,” she finished. Crazy, you must have missed me. Kiss my feet now.

The argument is the most recent in a string of arguments between the two women, who are regarded as some of the most popular female rappers of the present era.

Both women have seen unprecedented levels of fame and wealth as a result of their success; Minaj is thought to have a net worth of $150 million, while Cardi stated in April that her fortune had surpassed $101 million.

The two women may not share many interests, but they do have one very obvious thing in common outside of music: real estate investing.

Both of them have accumulated huge home collections throughout the course of their careers; Cardi even got one of her mansions as a gift from an ex.

More from Realtor.com: If I don’t have any children, who will inherit my house?

Cardi B’s real estate holdings totaling $11.65 million

    Cardi B in 2024.

The A-lister is the owner of a 22,000-square-foot Atlanta home that her ex-partner gave her in 2022, as well as a property in New Jersey that was a long-held desire for her and her ex-boyfriend, Offset.

Cardi announced to her fans in 2021 that she had moved into her ideal New York City home. Later on, though, it was discovered that the property was located in Tenafly, New Jersey.

Approximately 45 minutes from Midtown Manhattan and 25 minutes from her hometown of Washington Heights, the house is situated in the Jersey suburbs.

Cardi paid $5.85 million for the house in September 2021, and she later invested $1 million in upgrades.

There are nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms on the main property. It is situated on two acres of land and is 13,000 square feet in size.

The mansion features a wet bar, a gym, a powder room, a wine cellar, a home cinema, and ceilings that are ten feet high.

Additionally, there is a library, a great room, a big dining room, a chef’s kitchen, an elevator, and an office with six fireplaces. The main bedroom has walk-in closets and two bathrooms.

In addition, the property has a guesthouse, a cabana with an outdoor kitchen, a tennis court, and a saltwater pool.

Cardi’s home in Atlanta is 22,000 square feet, on 5.84 acres of wooded land, and was constructed in 2006.

There are five bedrooms and at least seven bathrooms in the $5.8 million property.

A terrace including an outdoor kitchen and fireplace is accessible from the family area.

There will be plenty of locations for the couple to make munchies. The expansive game room on the main floor, which Offset has referred to as his man cave, also contains a kitchenette and bar.

The main suite is also incredibly roomy, featuring a spa bath, two-story closets for him and her, and a sitting area with a fireplace.

Lastly, Cardi and Offset once shared the keys to a house in Beverly Hills.

But after a lawsuit alleging damages, the property they leased was sold in 2023.

There were six bathrooms and five bedrooms in the house.

Additional information from Realtor.com: Thanks to a surprise gift from my estranged mother, I am 37 years old, earn $87K, and purchased a $368K home in Orlando, Florida.

The $19.5 million real estate holdings of Nicki Minaj

Last year, Nicki Minaj performed in New York City as part of her globe tour.

The 42-year-old only has the keys to one house at the moment, unlike Cardi. But she has held several keys before.

Minaj’s principal home is a modern farmhouse in Hidden Hills, California, that she purchased in 2022 for $19.5 million.

Eight bedrooms, multiple baths, a resort-style pool, a cabana, a balcony with wide views of the hills, and a separate guesthouse are all features of the spacious home.

Several celebrities live in the 12,000-square-foot house in a posh area.

The stunning marble mansion that rises ‘beyond the clouds’ in Vermont is listed for $14 million, according to Realtor.com.

In 2020, Minaj rented a house in Calabasas for $28,000 a month. In the past, she also paid $35,000 a month to rent a pad in Beverly Hills.

Additionally, Minaj formerly possessed a 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home worth $10 million. Before she moved into her Hidden Hills home, it served as her primary abode.
